3DS console ReviewAt first, like many people, I was skeptical about the 3DS. Would the 3D feature be a game changer? Would the short battery life get in the way of my enjoyment of the console?
Well whether it's a game changer or not is still yet to be seen, however I can tell you the 3D effect is amazing! Playing Street Fighter was completely captivating with the dynamic view, it gave the game a real sense of depth and made pulling off a successful combo far more satisfying. Do not listen to the naysayers who say 3D is a gimmick, it immerses you on a level you didn't think was possible (especially with a horror survival game such as Resident Evil Revelations) |

Super Street Fighter 4 ReviewCurrently the top of the 3DS chart and also on sale i snapped this up as quickly as i could. having played the xbox360 version of the game i knew what to expect and i was interested to see how the portable version measures up.
after playing it for an hour or so today, its safe to say super street fighter 4 3D edition hits all the bases. Firstly the number of characters available is the most i have seen in a street fighter game (bar alpha 3) so right from the get go you are spoiled for choice. This does have its downsides however, it means there are no more characters to unlock through the course of the game so initially there appears to be a lack of content and to a certain extent that is true. regardless though, the arcade mode remains as fun as ever |
A picture comparing the graphics of the 3DS (left) to the graphics of the PS3/Xbox360 (right). Considering the former is a portable version; the port is more impressive than i expected.
